RELENTLESS RANSOMWARE: THREAT REPORT SECOND HALF 2021
Based on our continuous observation and review of the threat landscape, ransomware attacks represented the most significant threats we tracked throughout 2021.
Global ransomware attacks up 151% compared to the same timeframe in 2020, resulting in an average recovery cost increase more than 100% to $1.8 million.
We are also seeing a rise in so called Access-as-a-Service providers. They provide other attackers with stolen, valid credentials to systems or access to already installed backdoors.
